Let’s start cooking!

For Beginners: Simple and Delicious

For those who are not huge fans of cooking or who’ve had kitchen disasters without even wanting it, we brought some Christmas recipes that are easy to prepare, with ingredients that everyone typically has in their kitchen and doesn’t require much elaboration.

  1. Pigs in Blankets – A classic that everyone loves!

What You’ll Need:

  • 12 cocktail sausages
  • 12 slices of streaky bacon

How to Make It:

Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Wrap each sausage in a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Place them on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes until they turn crispy and golden.

  1. Mince Pies

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 pack of ready-made shortcrust pastry
  • 1 jar of mince meat
  • Icing sugar for dusting

How to Make It:

Roll out the pastry and cut it into circles using a cookie cutter. Place them in a muffin tin, fill with mincemeat and top with smaller pastry circles. Bake at 200°C (180°C fan) for 15-20 minutes, then dust with icing sugar once cooled.

  1. Bread Sauce

This is a great creamy accompaniment option to include on your Christmas table.

What You’ll Need:

  • 500ml milk
  • 1 onion, halved
  • 2 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 100g breadcrumbs

How to Make It:

Heat the milk with the onion, cloves and bay leaves until just simmering. Remove from heat and leave to infuse for 15 minutes. Strain the milk, return to the pan and stir in breadcrumbs until thickened.
