Northumberland

County Details

Northumberland – a beautiful county filled with ancient castles, lovely beaches, rolling hills, rugged moorland; sweeping views, cute little market towns and a cultural heritage all of its own.

Our beautiful Bridgend Park is located in the town of Wooler, a small market town located at the foot of the Cheviot Hills on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. There are very few places in Northumberland that can rival Wooler and Glendale’s natural beauty.

Wooler Town Centre consists of a busy main street with many pubs, restaurants, speciality shops, butchers and local producers, everything you could need. The area is also packed full of history with the Flodden Battle Fields, Maelmin Heritage Trail and some popular fishing opportunities in the local rivers.

The historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed is just a short drive away and also the famous town of Alnwick and coastal retreats of Bamburgh boasting some of the finest castles and sandy beaches in the UK. We also have a Wyldecrest Holiday Park nearby: Bockenfield Country holiday park, where being a Wyldecrest Park resident provides you with a special discount.
