Q. How did you choose this park?
We have spent a majority of our life living in the Bath area & we absolutely love this region. We have a large beautiful family comprising of 4 children, 11 grandchildren & 7 great grand-children!
And you know the best part – they all live local!
So when we were living in a 2-bed house we always knew that we will be downsizing in the local area.
Q. Did you know about park homes?
We definitely wanted a bungalow layout as we didn’t want any stairs. We started looking at bungalows in the local area & then we remembered that we had friends who lived on Quarry Rock Residential Park & had massively recommended the park home lifestyle.
We then enquired about availability on the park & we found out that there was a phase of development happening on the park & new homes were available to buy.
We went and had a look around, met up with some residents and decided to buy a park home. We chose an Omar Regency bungalow – it is beautiful & very-well furnished & extremely comfortable to live in.
. How is life in the park?
We moved into our lovely new bungalow last month & already had a big celebration when I turned 80 recently!!
Well, we love life on the park & our making new friends literally every day. Everyone is so friendly on the park & it’s a very tight-knit community.
Most of my family have visited our park home & they are all thrilled with how lovely it is & how lovely the entire park is.
Q. Anything else you would like to share with us?
Well, we are quite settled into our new home now. Spring is just around the corner & we are really looking forward to planting some lovely plants & flowers. We hope that our home will look lovelier with a beautiful garden & also it would enhance the look of this already gorgeous park.
We share our home with 3 colourful canaries. Their names are Pip, Squeak and Winifred & they have moved in with us & have settled into their new home delightfully.
I am looking forward to retirement next month after spending nearly 32 years working for the railways in various roles ranging from a superior safety engineer to operations of small machinery! We are so glad that we moved to this lovely, easy to manage bungalow & now look forward to making some lovely memories in our ‘forever home’
Thank you so much Mr Treby, it’s really heartening to know that the residential park home move has gone so well for you. We wish you a great life in your lovely new home & look forward to seeing your lovely garden in the summer!
