Our (park) home by the fields

We caught up with the lovely Maureen who moved into our Saltmarshe Castle Park a few weeks ago.

We used to live in a beautiful 3-bed semi-detached home around an hour from Bromyard, the area was much busier and quite built-up.

We were looking into downsizing to a more manageable home and also in a quiet, greener area but still close to family.

A family member showed us a few images of Saltmarshe Castle residential park and we loved what we saw and immediately booked an appointment to view the park.

Once onsite we remembered that Mr Bright’s father used to have a holiday home on the park when it was only a holiday park.

The park was purely Holiday Park then and it had changed so much now – there is a shop, a gorgeous club house and now is a residential development.

We are quite settled in our new home and we absolutely love it and have been quite pleasantly surprised at how spacious they are!  We chose a premium plot in the park overlooking the fishing lake and the never-ending green fields.

The best part is that Bess, our Staff Cross pet dog has settled better than ever. She used to hate leaving the home before where we lived and would do anything to avoid going out.

Now, since moving into the park, she is ready and waiting even before we have had a chance to put on our coats ðŸ™‚

Everyone on the park is so friendly, they go out of their way to say hello see how things are going, it is such a refreshing feeling.

The on-park shop is so convenient and it is great to have a clubhouse on site for a catch-up and an easy dinner.

Thank you so much Maureen. It is great to hear that you and Paul and Bess are settling so well. We wish you lots of health & happiness in your new home.

Our popular Saltmarshe Castle Residential Park is located in a peaceful & breath-taking woodland setting & offers the ultimate in peace and tranquillity with a very friendly & close-knit community.

This park has been created in the grounds of Saltmarshe Castle, a former country house and estate first owned by the Higginson family and then through the generations to the Barnaby family in 1946.

Many parts of the outer walls and turrets still remain, together with various outbuildings, stables, ice house and cider wheel, making this park a unique place to live.

Wyldecrest Parks acquired this site in 2015 and have transformed this beautiful setting into a unique residential development while still keeping all its old features intact.

The Development has its own:

  • Club House
  • Café & restaurant
  • Shop
  • Hairdresser
  • Parking
  • Warden on site
  • Office on site
  • Visitor Parking
  • Event Hall
  • Bar
  • Play area
  • Pets welcome *

We also offer Part Exchange & will be your guaranteed buyer & offer you 100% of the market value* (t & c apply)

Saltmarshe Castle Park has been featured in many TV programs & commercials. It has also been featured in a documentary done by BBC about how Residential Parks like Saltmarshe provide an excellent solution for luxury, low-cost downsizing especially for the older population.
