Q. How did you decide on a park home?
I had known about park homes for a while & I always wanted to move into one when I was ready to retire. My parents were living in Norfolk so I wanted to stay close to them.
Sadly after they passed, I decided to make the move. My family home had too many memories & I wanted to make a fresh new start in nice surroundings.
Q. What was most important to get right?
I knew the house I wanted as my old family home actually resembled a park home in terms of layout even though it was built after the war!
I definitely had to be near to amenities & shops & utilities & having lived all my life near the sea I also wanted to be close to the sea.
I knew that park homes have a bungalow-style layout and that was very important.
Q. Why did you choose Bryn Gynog Residential Park?
Even though my lovely family home was situated close to the sea, it was very remote. Plus the weather conditions were terrible and it was really far from any local amenities. Even the nearest shop was a 30 minute drive for me!
Anyways, so why Bryn Gynog? Well, I loved the park – it is stunning! It is close to the hills & has a beautiful river nearby.
Although the park is situated partly in the countryside, it as shops in walking distance which include large stores & small family run shops as well.
Being able to walk to a lovely, quaint high street was important for me & this park ticked all the boxes for me.
Q. How is life on the park?
I have family living nearby in Manchester & they love to visit my lovely home & park!
I am still getting some finishing touches done to my home & have 1-2 issues which need to be fixed.
But I love the area & my home & I am thinking of getting a small dog soon!
What a lovely story and such a nice feeling that Paul found a home which ticked all his requirements.
We are proud of managing our parks so well and also of our relationships with our park residents.
