Bring it outside, summer is finally here!

Penwortham Residential Park (Preston)

We caught up with the lovely Kenneth & Jackie Walker who moved into our Penwortham Residential Park in Preston about six months ago.

We have spent most of our life in Southport. We lived in a 2nd floor flat but as we got older we felt the struggle of climbing the two flights of stairs every day.

We knew we wanted to move into something more practical but didn’t really know what.

Our daughter had seen Penwortham residential park and she loved it and felt it was right for them.

The park has all cute bungalow-like buildings, all on one level. The park is off the main road so it’s quiet and safe and all residents a similar age.

After our daughter shared the idea of a park home with us, we did some research and then we booked a viewing and immediately knew this was what we were looking for.

We purchased a brand new two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms Willerby Hazlewood park home bungalow.

We have now been living in the park for over 6 months and have fallen in love with park-home living.

We have made so many friends in the park and while we didn’t really know many of our neighbours in our old flat – this is such a great change for us.

Our home setting is lovely and we love being so close to both of our daughters.

We love our home and after not having a garden for a while are both taking full advantage and spending a lot of time outside, planting and general gardening.

The location is perfect and since moving onto the park we have found everything that we need is less than 5 minutes away from local shops to takeaways and of course both of our daughters

Thank you so much for sharing your experience Ken & Jackie. We wish you lots of happy times in your forever home. We are so happy to see Ken enjoying his retirement after 25 rewarding years as a firefighter.

Our Penwortham residential park is 400 yards from the main road which provides ease of access to the seaside towns of Blackpool and Southport.

The park is located at a 4-minute walk from a bus stop and the centre of Penwortham which is a small town in the heart of Lancashire with a great range of amenities. Penwortham has local and chain retailers.

There are also great places to eat and drink in Penwortham which include The Shampan Indian Restaurant & The Black Bull Inn- a traditional friendly alehouse.

Preston city is just over 2 miles from the park and takes nine minutes to drive to.

We have a brand new Tingdene Cosgrove home ready to view and a choice of various size of plots to view in the park as well.
