Boxer Ben Jones on the way to Port Haverigg

Crawley champion boxer Ben Jones is on his way to Millom, in Cumbria. The boxer, who’s known as “Duracell” for his non-stop action and his amazing fitness levels, has chosen Port Haverigg Marina Village Holiday Park to be the stage of his team’s training camp, between 31st August and 4th September.

The holiday site is owned by Wyldecrest Parks, which is supporting Ben on his next title journey.

“That place immediately caught my eye while we were looking for places to do our training camp. I’ve felt it was perfect for us. So I can only express my gratitude to Wyldcerest Parks and its Chairman Alfie Best for supporting my next title journey”, Ben Jones says.

Jones, who retains the WBO European, IBO Intercontinental & English Super Featherweight titles is in great form having won three warm-up fights with knock-outs in the last four months in build up to a title fight in October, which can open up many other titles across Europe and potentially a shot at a World title.

Ben Jones and Wyldecrest Parks will open his training camp to the community and local press/media with an Open Training Session on Thursday, 3rd September.
