It’s almost three weeks ago that Susan & I moved into our park home in Wilby Residential Park. It has been great till now and we are settling in quite well.
Susan sadly suffered a stroke last year and we started finding our 3-bedroom townhouse very difficult to manage. It was difficult to move around for her as well and we actively started looking for downsizing options.
We found out about park homes and how they are luxury bungalows with everything on one floor and parking next to the home as well.
Our house was in Ashford, Kent but we wanted to move to Northamptonshire. The reason was to be near our dear daughter who is less than 20 minutes away
The Park location and the home suited us perfectly and we feel we should have done this much earlier.
We were initially worried about moving away from where he have lived for a long time but it was just nerves and we are so happy we made the move.
We have made so many friends, everyone is really helpful and friendly and we look forward to Christmas in out lovely park home
