Never Looked Back

That’s what our lovely resident Cilia Collins says about her move to our lovely Bayworth Park.

Cilla Moved from a 3-bed semi-detached house in South Abingdon where she lived with her son, daughter and pets.  She had been thinking of downsizing over the last few years and she started looking into residential park homes during that time. Cilla was very sure that she had to be in the Oxford area as she had lived in that area all her life and her children would be local as well.

One thing led to another and she visited our Bayworth Park and met our sales manager Ms Claire Blount who took her around the park.

She was also very particular that she wanted to be free from mortgage, and have a home without stairs and that is a very distinct feature of all park homes – they are essentially bungalows which are single-storey and a majority have lovely gardens and parking.

She, however, wasn’t too particular about the room –sizes and/or having a huge garden.

But, the best part after her move, Cilla says has been the community on the park and even though it wasn’t the reason she moved, the warmth and love she has received have been overwhelming. She is now very fond of her neighbours and everyone around the park!  And not only does she not miss her previous house, but she wishes she had made this move much earlier.

There is never a feeling of loneliness but at the same time, there is a feeling of independence and privacy at all times.  The park met and exceeded all her requirements and she has never been happier.

She also loves the fact that she is less than 5 miles from the centre of Oxford and lives in surroundings which are beautifully maintained!

Her move was very smooth and she says she received every support along the way! When we asked her if there’s anything she doesn’t like about the park- you won’t believe what she said! Cilla said that she doesn’t like any empty homes on the park because they are too beautiful to be vacant and that she always looks forward to meeting and sharing this beautiful community and their life-stories with new, interesting neighbours.

We at Wyldecrest Parks love to hear her honest expression and it makes us feel we are doing something right here and makes us want to make our communities even more welcoming, comfortable and supportive every day.
