Live your younger days!

Live your younger days

That’s the mantra given to us by the lovely, full-of-life Ms Ingrid Kelly-Burge, resident of our gorgeous Fangrove Park.
She completes two years in her park home this September & we caught up with her for a short chat. We couldn’t leave without having some of that excitement and positivity rub-off on us and we hope you get the same feeling when you read this.

My parents live in a park home in Chertsey, Surrey not far from where I live now. So I was already sold on to the concept of park homes before I made this move. I think they offer amazing value and a great way of life.
You can actually get a good amount of capital released and put away to ‘live your younger days’ while at the same time you don’t have to compromise on the location or even the quality of life.
Of course, as everyone knows, the ease of maintaining these park homes is unbeatable. Plus they are brand new & modern and I can’t imagine the cost and hard work of doing that to an existing home.
So I have always lived local to this area (Chertsey, Surrey) and I have family around (my parents and sister all live close by) and therefore I wanted to live locally. I could either stay in a property which was too big for me and also kept my money blocked in or I could actually release capital from my home – which I actually decided to do. I love my park home and have enjoyed every bit of my life here the past two years.
Fangrove Park is a lovely, green park with tree-lined avenues and an aura of peace and quiet. The location, the locality and the greenness of it was basically too perfect for me to miss.
Plus just minutes from your doorstep you will find the local restaurants, pubs and basically everything you need.
It has a great community as well and everyone always says hello. Everyone looks out for everyone and it’s up to each person to decide how much they want to get involved in the community really

Thanks so much, Ingrid for such a lovely story! We are so grateful to have such lovely residents like you.

With a superb location, set in rural Surrey but yet close enough to London and to some excellent transport links, Fangrove Park is the perfect countryside retreat for you.

This retirement residential park is located off Lyne Lane, in the semi-rural village of Lyne, and the larger centres of both Chertsey and Virginia Water are just less than 3 miles away – there you will find a wide range of retail and service outlets, together with leisure and many other facilities, as well as railways stations with regular trains into London Waterloo and also towards Reading and Wokingham. The park has a brilliant residents club as well located inside the park.

In Chertsey, one of the oldest market towns in England, you can also visit the historic royal Hampton Court Palace, the famous 7 ¼ in gauge miniature Great Cockcrow Railway or delight yourself at the London Bus Museum. The town is also home to the Chertsey Cricket Club, one of England’s oldest and most influential cricket clubs which, away from the field, also offers a vibrant social membership and doubles as one of the most picturesque beer gardens in the county during the summer.

The park occupies a very prime residential location, being close to the Wentworth estate, Foxhill Golf Club and other similar complexes that contribute towards this area’s recognition as one of the most exclusives within the county. Central London is within approximately 25 miles of the park, Heathrow Airport is 16 miles away and Gatwick Airport is also easily accessible.

The park itself is laid out within a quiet and beautiful setting. Most of the homes have their own private garden areas and are surrounded by gorgeous mature trees and evergreen hedges, giving to the residents that perfect feeling of peace and tranquillity.

We have two lovely homes available in the park to view & buy. We also have plots available as well as more homes coming soon.

If you would like to come for a quick visit, please get in touch with us and we would love to arrange a visit for you!
