Sandra moved from Bristol to live in Saltmarshe Castle residential Park.
“Saltmarshe Castle is about an hour and a half drive from Bristol. We looked at parks for a couple of months. When it came to choosing between parks, the reason which beat all the others was the lovely atmosphere of the park. You can just feel it the moment you actually step on to the park. And the views on the park are fabulous as well so it was an easy decision for us to choose Saltmarshe castle.
I worked in an office for 20 years and my husband was a Van driver. We both decided to retire and move into a relaxed and easier way of life.
And believe you me, we were a quiet and stay-at-home couple but ever since moving here, we are never at home! Every day is a weekend honestly! We have made such good friends and it’s actually like living as one big family in our own respective homes.
We have our Saltmarshe Ladies WhatsApp group as do the lads! We love to go out on our ladies night outs and everyone is simply so friendly on the park.
My family lives in Bristol and they love to visit us. My grandkids actually love the park and they love to visit in the school holiday. They say it’s like living in Centre Parcs.
We are so happy that we chose this park and what initially made us choose the park has only gotten better. We love the atmosphere and everyone is so friendly in the park.

Saltmarshe Castle Residential Park is located in a peaceful and breath-taking woodland setting, approximately 2.5 miles north of the town of Bromyard on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is situated with south facing views overlooking the Bromyard Downs and Malvern Hills.
This park is situated in the endless grounds of Saltmarshe Castle, a former country house and estate first owned by the Higginson family and then through the generations to the Barnaby family in 1946. Although the Castle itself was demolished many years ago, in 1955, parts of the outer walls and turrets still remain, together with various outbuildings, stables, ice house, and cider wheel, making this park a unique place to live.
Bromyard, the nearest town, is where you will find all your local amenities, doctors, dentist, optician and vets along with the local shops.
The area is renowned for its scenic beauty and many ancient towns and cities, including Hereford, Worcester, Gloucester and Leominster, all accessible by the local bus services in Bromyard.
Within the local surroundings of this gorgeous and historic park, you can find a wide range of farms, many of them selling locally grown fresh produce and ingredients, as well as some of the most amazing centres, family restaurants with homemade food and handcraft gift shops.
