From Norfolk to Cornwall: Our Residential Park home move

We caught up with Steve & Gillian who were out for a lovely walk. It’s been a little over 4 months now & they are quite settled into their lovely new home.

We had family living in St Austell which is why we chose to move here. Lovely area, Lovely Park – the best move that we have made!

We knew about park homes as my mother-in-law lived in one for 40 years.

We knew that when the time came to downsize, we knew that we would choose a residential park home. They are easy to manage & modern & fully-fitted & offer a great value for your money.

We chose a modern Newmarket park home bungalow – we just love its modern open-plan style which makes the whole home feel spacious & light.

We used to live in Diss in Norfolk. With the uncertainty around Brexit last year, we were quite concerned regarding how we would sell our home & complete this move.

We opted for the part-exchange with Wyldecrest Parks. It did make the entire selling activity easy & from start to finish it took us about 8 months.

The park is very friendly & we have been welcomed warmly. We recently got a puppy Dylan who we love to take out on walks around the park. We have met almost everyone in the park in our walks around & everyone is lovely.

During this whole lockdown period, we have had chats with each other from safe distances. Living in the countryside is lovely & there is no feeling of loneliness at all.

Park manager Lee Webb is always available & the maintenance men on the park are extremely helpful as well.

We look forward to catching up with Alfie Best when he flies into this part of the world next!

Thank you so much Steve for sharing your experience with us. We wish you lots of health & happiness in your ‘forever home’

There is a thriving community on Glenleigh Residential Park in the heart of Cornwall where there are 60 homes, all with large plots. The park has spectacular views over the open countryside and is very popular with our residents.
