She was living in Cyprus for the last 12 years. After her husband passed away a few months back, she decided to move back home.
I wanted to come back to England as I have friends here. I wanted a simple easy to maintain bungalow and just have a calm, peaceful life.
I actually viewed the park on my phone over a video call with Martin and really loved it.
I viewed a few homes and finally decided on the Dorset home.
It has a lovely design & finishing and I knew that it is the home I wanted. I was quite sure of my choice and I was also given reassurance by Wyldecrest that if I had any doubts when I came – they would make sure to help with whatever they could.
The lockdown delayed my plans a bit. However, Wyldecrest parks have been most helpful.
I had to quarantine when I came back, however since my home was brand new and came fully-furnished- I was able to move in without any hassle.
Saltmarshe Castle staff helped me so much to make my move very smooth.
I bought myself a nice electric recliner and Martin helped me to swap it and also get some matching furnishings done for my home.
I have a small dog, Honey who absolutely loves it here. We love exploring the countryside and we have a shop & café onsite where you can get pretty much everything you want.
It’s so good to be back home! There is no place in this world like England!
I love the location of my home as it offers beautiful views; it is very private but not segregated. I feel lucky that I made such an excellent choice and that too over video calls! I would say value for money and satisfaction.

Saltmarshe Castle Residential Park is located in a peaceful and breath-taking woodland setting, approximately 2.5 miles north of the town of Bromyard on the borders of Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is situated with south facing views overlooking the Bromyard Downs and Malvern Hills.
This park is situated in the endless grounds of Saltmarshe Castle, a former country house and estate first owned by the Higginson family and then through the generations to the Barnaby family in 1946.
Although the Castle itself was demolished many years ago, in 1955, parts of the outer walls and turrets still remain, together with various outbuildings, stables, ice house and cider wheel, making this park a unique place to live.
Bromyard, the nearest town, is where you will find all your local amenities, doctors, dentist, optician and vets along with the local shops.
The area is renowned for its scenic beauty and many ancient towns and cities, including Hereford, Worcester, Gloucester and Leominster, all accessible by the local bus services in Bromyard.
Within the local surroundings of this gorgeous and historic park you can find a wide range of farms, many of them selling locally grown fresh produce and ingredients, as well as some of the most amazing garden centres, family restaurants with homemade food and handcraft gift shops.
