It was actually at this last park where the Wyldecrest’s empire began back in 2001, when owner Alfie Best, now Chairman, bought it. “To be honest, looking for parks in Essex and completing this recent purchase, takes me back in time. It’s great to remember when and how you’ve started and what you’ve managed to achieve”, describes the Chairman.
In fact, today’s successful entrepreneur and multimillionaire Romany Gypsy had lived there for around a year, after he acquired the Lakeview Park. And it seems like Essex is the favourite “business starting point” for the Best family. Alfie Best Junior, 17 years old, has just recently acquired his first mobile home park as well: a site in Crays Hill, Billericay, which represents his very own first step into the business and made him the youngest mobile home park owner in the UK.
Wyldecrest Parks’ most recent purchase, The Retreat Park, is located in Buckhurst Hill, approximately 5 miles south of the M25 and 11 miles north-east of Central London. “The park is lovely, very peaceful and I’m feeling very pleased to add it to our portfolio”, says Alfie Best.
