We first came to view Tranquility Residential Park roughly a year and a half ago. We were in Woolacombe and therefore just wanted to see what was available.
I have been coming to Woolacombe for the last 40 years and simply love it here. About 4 years ago Maria and I decided that we wanted to move by the sea.
However, we just didn’t want just a house near the sea, we actually wanted to SEE the SEA. So that’s why we were drawn to Tranquility.
We were really happy with the bungalow we see and the amazing Seaview actually did it for us and we decided to reserve a bungalow.
We moved from Worcestershire where I had a security design company. My team are now managing & running the business for and I plan to retire next year to fully start enjoying this new chapter of my life in Woolacombe.
Since I wanted to retire and this move was a way to make it happen, we knew that a park home was the right decision.
We wanted something which was more money efficient for us in the long run and we knew that bills and outgoings in a park home are so much better than in a house.
I had an open heart-surgery in November last year and at one point we thought that our dreams of However, fortunately I feel better than ever and this move I feel has come at the right time.
Our beloved dog passed a few years ago but we are hopeful that in the future we can have a furry friend to enjoy the beach with us.
