Hampshire is a county on the southern coast of England, its history dates to Roman Britain, when its chief town was Winchester. A few of its popular cities are Winchester (which has been named as one of the happiest places to live in England), Southampton, Basingstoke and Portsmouth.
It is one of the most affluent counties in the country, with an unemployment rate lower than the national average. It enjoys a great location and has excellent transport links and is an easy getaway from London (55 miles).
