We would like to thank Colin for his hard-work & Alfie Best for his contribution towards the project.
We had a quick chat with Colin today & his passion for the project and the park was clearly apparent.
There is a new café which will be serving tea and coffee but if you would like anything stronger then you must bring your own, (empties must return with you)
We will be opening the doors from 4pm until…to be decided. The Centre is open to everyone so please pop along and see the changes, we have books that can be acquired or borrowed for a small donation, the café can be used as a meeting room or can be booked for private use etc., again for a small donation. We hope to have games evenings including Beetle drives and we are open to suggestions and ideas.
“There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about.” – Margaret J. Wheatley
“We create communities, not just homes – the two go hand in hand.” Wyldecrest Parks chairman Alfie Best
While Alfie Best could not be part of the grand opening event as he is travelling overseas, he sends in his best wishes & is so happy & proud that the vision with which Colin started has been achieved & he looks forward to a cup of tea in the centre on his next visit. All of us at Wyldecrest Parks would like to congratulate Colin & his team and all the residents of this park for getting this lovely centre restored & wish them all the best. On our part, we look forward to organizing an event in this centre soon for everyone to enjoy!
St Dominic Park is nestled in a secluded valley situated just outside the historical town of Callington, Cornwall (3 miles) and about 14 miles north-west of the city of Plymouth. This well-established, popular park is surrounded by fabulous fields, woodland walks and a tranquil flowing stream running alongside. Leading up to the park is a private walled drive with fantastic rural views.
There is a brand new home available to view on this park, Omar Newmarket (36×20, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) starting from £150,000 & some more plots are being developed. If you would like to arrange to come down for a visit to this or our other parks in the Cornwall area – please get in touch with us.
