There are 45 homes on Little Trelower Park and a great community atmosphere among the residents. For convenience there is a bus stop right outside the park entrance and the local village of Sticker has a post office, general store and cracking pub that does a great Sunday Roast! St Austell is less than three miles away and is a large town with all facilities and amenities you need including a cinema and train station.
Local attractions include the very popular Internationally renowned Eden Project, which is situated in a huge creator and houses massive biomes containing the largest rain forest in captivity along with other exhibitions. The Eden Project also holds regular summer concerts and exhibitions throughout the year so there’s always something to see and do at this amazing architectural wonder! In addition, the beautiful Lost Gardens of Heligan are only a few miles away and well worth a visit with their lovely tea rooms! If Gardens and attractions aren’t your thing and fishing is, you’re in luck as you have the option of either sea fishing or freshwater close at hand as well!
Within close reach of the park you have a whole host of historic south coast seaside fishing villages and docks including Pentewan, Mevagissey, Fowey and Charlestown where some of the filming for Poldark takes place. Alternatively, the north coast is only half an hour away if you want to spend the day in Newquay or on one of the many beaches available, if not, the Cornish capital Truro with its Cathedral and amenities is equally reachable if you’d prefer a day in city.
Although it’s hard to find reasons to leave Cornwall, if you are thinking of a holiday away from the stunning county, the parks location means you’re not far from the A30, Cornwall’s main access road but if you don’t want to drive, Newquay airport is only 15 mile away and offers flights to a number of the UK’s main cities including London, Manchester and Liverpool as well as other European locations.
